Fatalistic Fatality

Fatalism is a philosophical doctrine that everything that happens, happens because they are bound to happen. It implies that we cannot do anything about everything because we are powerless to do so. What is interesting is that even if it means that there is a predetermination of events, it is different from determinism because fatalism adopts a passive view of fate — and by this, hope seems to be worthless.

And without hope, what is the essence of living?
