When iron gets rusty and thins out, you can not do anything about it’s corrosion.

Preventive measures can slow down further damage, but the hollow or worse, the whole can never be replaced.

I think this is a more accurate description of psychological damages, rather than metaphors of glass or anything frail.

I would like to believe that each of us have strong personalities to begin with, and that we are not fragile beings.

Woundedness is not just about scars left behind.
