We often engage ourselves in some sort of an internal storytelling regardless of our inclination for introspection. Stories fuel us with both reasons and emotions that influence our perceptions and behaviors every second of the day. We unknowingly make up stories in our head as to why things had to happen, or what could be in store for us in the future, or how we should go about our businesses for the day. These stories are sometimes colorful, other times they are gray; still worse, when they are black and white. What is uncomforting is the fact that we sometimes hold on to these stories as realities when in truth, they are just what they are: stories.
